Raise Yourself Today | Lily Grace

I was born in China in the early 1970s, into a family with very supportive, hardworking parents. In my childhood, I always felt loved and cared for. Though we were poor, I was never hungry, never cold, and never without the feeling of home.

I grew up happily, even though we had very little in the way of material things. Back then, money was never something I thought about, nor was it something I was taught to think about.

After college, I became a middle school English teacher in China and worked in that role for seven years. I enjoyed my life, and at that time, I did not have big financial ambitions.

In my early thirties, I married my Irish husband and moved to Ireland. Within the first three years of our marriage, we had two babies, and I naturally became a stay-at-home mother. My husband’s single income supported our family of four.

But because we did not own a house, we had rent to pay every month. By the end of each month, there was almost nothing left.

That was when I truly began to understand that money matters.

I wanted to go back to China to visit my family. I wanted us to buy our own home. I wanted to feel fully settled after crossing continents and building a new life in a foreign country. And as a mother of two wonderful, bright children, I wanted to prepare well for their education and future.

For the first time, I began to ask myself seriously:

What can I do to create more money and more choices for my family?

Because I could not leave my children to take a full-time job, I started looking for online opportunities. In 2012, I built my first WordPress blog. Soon after that, I discovered YouTube and posted my first video that December.

I had no filming or editing skills. I learned slowly, mostly late at night after the children had gone to bed. Month after month, I kept going.

After six months, I finally made my first money online: €6 for the month.

I still remember thinking, Well, at least that is two ice creams for the children.

That was in mid-2013.

By the end of that same year, I had made €10,000.

Then I set myself a new goal: to make €3,000 a month.

The following year, I reached that goal. In the years that followed, my income grew far beyond what I had imagined. At one stage, I was making €30,000 to €40,000 a month before tax. At my peak in 2017, my gross income reached around €500,000 in one year.

No helper. No employee. Just me, working from home as a mother.

That YouTube channel, which I started in 2012, has now grown to more than 4 million subscribers: @TheChildhoodLifeTVifeTV.

With that income, our life expanded in beautiful ways. We bought our home outright. We bought our car outright. We contributed to our pension funds. We prepared for our children’s education. We travelled as a family, and I could return to China to visit my loved ones.

Money did not make life perfect, but it made life bigger, smoother, safer, and freer.

And along the way, I also won a meaningful lottery amount — an experience that deepened something I had already begun to believe.

Success is not only built from hard work on the outside. It also begins with something within us — an inner power, an inner expectation, an inner image of what life can become.

I believe this inner power can be awakened and expressed when we hold higher ideals in our mind, when we believe in possibility, and when we take inspired action toward the life we desire.

That is why I created Raise Yourself Today.

This blog is here to empower your journey to wealth, health, happiness, personal growth, inner joy, conscious living, and all things good.

Here, I share reflections, mindset tools, manifestation ideas, lottery inspiration, Neville Goddard teachings, success principles, rituals, personal growth practices, and gentle encouragement for anyone who feels ready to rise into a better version of life.

I do not claim to have all the answers. I am still learning, growing, creating, and raising myself too.

But I know from my own experience that life can change.

Dreams can grow.

Money can arrive in expected and unexpected ways.

A quiet idea can become a new path.

A small beginning can become something far greater than you imagined.

And sometimes, the life you once hoped for slowly, beautifully, and almost unbelievably becomes the life you are actually living.
